The mission of Big Brothers Big Sisters of the Triangle, Inc. (BBBST) is to help children reach their potential through professionally supported, one-to-one relationships with mentors that have a measurable impact on youth. We accomplish this goal by establishing long-lasting, one-to-one mentoring relationships that utilize targeted program components to address the needs of our children.

The Durham Eagles Athletic Association is dedicated to creating an environment of discipline, self-respect and success to aid in the academic, athletic and social advancement of our student-athletes.  Over the past 14 years, 2000 Durham students have benefited from the Eagles' positive role models, after school sporting activities and academic support network.  

The Mission of Rescue Mission Ministries (d/b/a Durham Rescue Mission) is to meet, through the power of Jesus Christ, the needs of the whole person - spiritual, educational, emotional, physical, vocational, and social - so that those who are hurting may become fully functioning members of society.

Habitat for Humanity International is a nonprofit, ecumenical Christian organization dedicated to eliminating substandard housing and homelessness worldwide and to making adequate, affordable shelter a matter of conscience and action. Habitat is founded on the conviction that every man, woman and child should have a simple, decent, affordable place to live in dignity and safety.

The Mission of Housing for New Hope is to encourage and assist homeless people and other persons in crisis to move toward lives marked by increased levels of stability, dignity, hope and independence.

To equip today's collegians for tomorrow's challenges, Leadership Edge Incorporated (LEI) provides excellent and effective collegiate leadership development services that are based upon scriptural principles. Through mentoring, classroom training and presentations in both secular and religious contexts, LEI sparks the process of students proactively preparing for future leadership in their marriages, families, careers and communities.

Pregnancy Support Services is a Christian ministry providing alternatives to abortion by supporting women facing the challenges of unplanned pregnancy, promoting sexual integrity with clients and in the community, and offering post abortion recovery support.

The SHC was formed to provide medical and dental care to the residents of the Durham Rescue Mission and Good Samaritan Inn, partner shelters housing over 700 homeless men, women, and children each year. We are a group of medical professionals and other volunteers who are bringing together the resources of area churches to meet the health care needs of the homeless in the name of Jesus Christ.
